Alexakis: Upon review of plaintiff's supplemental memorandum in support of its motion for electronic service [23], the Court denies plaintiff's motion for electronic service [16] without prejudice to renewal. Plaintiff may renew its motion for electronic service when it can demonstrate that it has exercised "reasonable diligence" in attempting to discover a physical address for service of process and has been unsuccessful in doing so. See, e.g., Luxottica Grp. S.p.A. v. Partnerships & Unincorporated Associations Identified on Schedule "A," 391 F. Supp. 3d 816, 822 (N.D. Ill. 2019); Smart Study Co. v. Acuteye-Us, 620 F. Supp. 3d 1382, 1390-91 (S.D.N.Y. 2022); see also [23] at 1 (plaintiff asserts that it "is still awaiting the marketplace platform's response to plaintiff's request for defendant's address information"). With respect to plaintiff's argument that Smart Study Co., Ltd. v. Shenzhenshixindajixieyouxiangongsi, --- F.4th ---, 2025 WL 3672740 (2d Cir. Dec. 18, 2025), does not "prohibit courts from authorizing electronic notice for purposes of TRO enforcement, asset restraint, or marketplace compliance before formal service is completed," the Court notes only at this juncture that there is no motion pending before it seeking what plaintiff describes as such "provisional or protective measures."
