This is a case about the alleged sale of "unauthorized and unlicensed products that infringe upon Plaintiff's federally registered design patents for bathtub toys[.]" Complaint [ECF No. 1 ] at 1. The original Plaintiff, Shenzhen Z Tech Co., Ltd., has since "assigned to Shenzhen Zilin Tech Co., Ltd. all the interests and rights" to the patents at issue. Motion at 1. The Plaintiff now wishes to substitute the assignee, Shenzhen Zilin Tech Co., Ltd., "as Party Plaintiff in this action." Ibid. We find that substitution is appropriate under Fed. R. Civ. P. 25(c) since "an interest [has been] transferred" and the original plaintiff moved for "the transferee to be substituted in the action[.]" Accordingly, we ORDER and ADJUDGE that the Motion is GRANTED. The Clerk is DIRECTED to substitute the original Plaintiff, Shenzhen Z Tech Co., Ltd., with the new Plaintiff, Shenzhen Zilin Tech Co., Ltd.
